If your blog is your home

July 13, 2008

What better way to open a Cafe than with the announcement, “Under Murderous Management”. Business was slow for a while, but I did enjoy making my own occasional refreshments between posts and comments at the Macquarie University Philosophy Blog.

Quite by accident, I discovered the Cinquain poem. I hadn’t really considered myself to be a poet in waiting, but my obsession grew despite my initial failure to recognise it.

You will find a bit of philosophically inclined opinion scattered here and there in my early posts. You might also find a bit of philosophical poetry from time to time at MQPhil.

I have tidied the place up a bit recently and the categories in my sidebar should lead you where you might expect them to.

I have also been following Lirone’s “Words That Sing” of late, and have been delighted to find there many links into the world of the “prompt”.

This brief tour has been sponsored by the Rockin’ Chair Writers prompt, “If your blog is your home show us around”. Many thanks Brian. I have enjoyed visiting your home and I look forward to visiting those of all of your contributors.

It has been lovely to see so many of you dropping in for a visit, and I appreciate all of the friendly comments. Thank you.
