This is certainly a Haiku to spend time contemplating. As you know, that’s the wonder of this poetic form. I like it a lot. Great entry to the poetry prompt and thank you for joining in. I admire your work.

Annie – I hadn’t thought of this as autobiographical, but the great thing about poetry is the freedom of interpretation. Glad you found one that I had missed.

I enjoyed this Haiku very much, it could almost pass for a senryu as well if one was to apply it literally to life. Well done
