Cool. Very careful and composed poem. This picture has swept through bloggoland like a renewing breeze. Yours is the first I’ve seen that tethers the poet whilst acknowledging the flight and energy in the picture. A unique perspective.

Wow, a true poet AND a maths geek – amazing! This is really really good! Should be in the highschool curriculum (meant as a compliment!). I love it.

the rhyme here works beautifully, and I do admire the way you take this through the picture so gracefully!

Brad, with each poem you write, you best yourself and impress everyone who comes here to read your work. :) You are so damn clever my friend.

Great poem Brad – rhythm and rhyme giving good pace and sewn up at the end with humour.

Great poem, and I really liked the image on top of it, it is a great painting. I was thinking that you are observing life, but one that is not alive indeed. One that has not been alive for a long time, if It had been alive recentely and had traces of it, it would probably would be something disgusting for us to see. Like a corpose on it s drying process. Why is that we found that disgusting, and not the other stages of life death cycle?
